It offers excellent image quality in true living colour or thermal during day and night observation in adverse weather conditions with up to 2600m detection range.

The Raptor also has a high-quality day & night optical camera built in. During daylight hours you can call on a detailed full-colour image to help identify the heat source you have located. When it gets dark the camera switches to night mode and the inbuilt IR will help you to see up to 400m in the dark. HikMicro Raptor is a powerful and innovative hand held thermal and digital night vision binocular which incorporates a powerful 12 micro NETD sub 20mk sensitivity thermal core with 2560x1440 low illumination optical sensor with built in adjustable IR illumination, and a precision built in laser rangefinder with up to 1000m measuring distance. 

Whilst the HikMicro Raptor RH50L does not feature the high resolution sensor of the RQ50L PRO, the 384x288 12 micron sensor still provides fantastic image quality for all but the longest of range observation tasks. Detection range stays the same, but the detail you see will be less than the 640x512 sensor variant.
